Walkthrough:Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire/Part 19

This is the Bulbapedia walkthrough for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
These pages follow the original Game Boy Advance iteration, not Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The guide for those games can be found here.

Route 132

Route 132

Located in the south-central part of Hoenn's ocean, Route 132 leads west from Pacifidlog Town to Route 133. The route is dominated by a rapid, westward-flowing current that prohibits any controlled movement while Surfing. Ancient ruins are rumored to lie submerged nearby, but reaching them will require careful planning to reach them.

Northern path, Part 1

Follow the central currents to the calm waters in the middle of the route. Continue westward to reach the patch of shallow water in the northwest, and collect the Rare Candy from its northern half. Surf westward from here to pass through the northeast shallows on Route 133.

Central path, Part 1

Ride the southernmost currents to the southeast island. Jump into the current off the north side of the island to reach the shallow waters in the northwest. Sail westward from here to reach the southernmost of the northeast shallows on Route 133.

Down to the Depths, Part 1

Ride the southernmost currents to the southeast island. Continue westward to reach a patch of calm water surrounded by shallows. Sail westward again to be whisked past a circular patch of deep water on the way to Route 133.

Route 133

Route 133

Continuing westward, Route 133 runs between Route 132 to the east and Route 134 to the west. Trainers gather in this stretch of sea in search of something beyond its fierce currents.

Northern path, Part 2

After passing between the northeastern shallows, you come to rest in the calm waters in the northwest part of Route 133. Collect the Star Piece from the north side of the nearby rock outcropping. Surf westward again to reach the calm waters on the north side of Route 134.

Central path, Part 2

Pick up the Big Pearl from the southernmost of the northeast shallows. Continue westward to reach the south side of the northwest island. Sail westward again to reach Route 134.

Down to the Depths, Part 2

Sail westward from the calm waters to reach the south-central patch of shallow water. Go west again to the patch of shallow water that borders Route 134.

Route 134

Route 134
Route 134, Underwater

Route 134 leads westward from Route 133 back to Slateport City. The area is a rather famous diving spot among those who love exploring ancient ruins.

Northern path, Part 3

From the calm waters in the north, sail westward again to reach the western-most point of the long, narrow sandbar. Continue westward to the calm waters outside Slateport City.

Central path, Part 3

From the shallow water to the east of the narrow sandbar, follow the current to the patch of shallow water in the northwest, and the calm waters outside Slateport City beyond.

Down to the Depths, Part 3

Sail westward from the middle of the shallow water to reach a circular spot of deep water surrounded by a ring of six stones. Use Dive to find an underwater cave, then swim southward through a long trench to a large rock. Examine the south side of the rock to find a Braille inscription.

Sealed Chamber

The Sealed Chamber is a long-forgotten submarine cave hidden deep beneath the waters of Route 134. It has now passed into legend, and no one alive today has seen it.

Chamber 1

The first chamber holds ten rock formations, each marked with several Braille characters. When viewed as a whole, these characters display the Braille alphabet.

Use Dig at this spot, and part of the wall crumbles away, revealing a doorway.

Chamber 2

In the second chamber, there are six large rock formations that each bear their own inscriptions. When viewed together, they reveal a bit of information about the people who created this place.

A seventh rock formation stands at the north side of the chamber, and bears its own inscription.
