Getting a vibe check

DJ Rotom suggests throwing a party to get everyone in Rocky Ridges into the right mood. Chef Dente says she will cook food for the party, and gives you a party cooking pot. Hopefully you cleaned up this plateau area earlier, so that you can place this pot here. If not, now is the time to clean up. Speak to the chef again and she will tell you that she doesn't know what to cook for the party.

Rotom then suggests that Chef Dente can't think because the vibes at the party are rancid. They suggest improving the vibes to help the chef think better. The first thing we need to do to get the vibes going is to give Rotom some CDs to play. These can be found in the overworld, particularly in CD racks in abandoned houses. They can also be found in glowing blocks.

Making a party playlist

Pop a few CDs into DJ Rotom, but this is just the start of our vibe maxing. They want to have plenty of dancing at the party and the best dancer around is Ludicolo. Hopefully you created the Uplifting Duckweed habitat near the veggie patch earlier, but if not you'll need the upgraded Leafage in order to pick the duckweed out of the water.

It won't take long for Ludicolo to settle into their favourite habitat. After you register them in your Pokédex, get them to follow you to the party. This will raise our vibes significantly but there are a few more things we need to do.

Decorating the party

Speak to Professor Tangrowth and they will tell you about lost relics. These can be found in glowing blocks all over the world, and large lost relics contain large decorative items. When you find a large lost relic, bring it to Professor Tangrowth to be appraised. He will turn it into a decorative item which you can then put somewhere on the plateau. Speak to Professor Tangrowth again after you do this and he will praise you for the decoration.

Sorting out your spread

Speak to Chef Dente again, and while she still hasn't decided on a main dish, she would like you to make some side dishes. You need to make five of these. You can make five of the same thing if you like, or make a mix of bread, hamburger and salad. The main catch is that they need to be placed on party platters.

In order to craft five party platters we will need to return to the smelting furnace and pick up our iron ingots. Take the ingots to the workbench to make the platters, and then cook five dishes in the kitchen. Place the platters on the tables around the plaza, then put your five meals on them before returning to Chef Dente to receive your praise.

The party finally starts

With this Rotom finally decides that you pass the vibe check. Speak to them again to confirm that your vibe rating is 100, and Chef Dente will tell you that they are ready to make a curry for the party. Place 15 leppa berries, 15 wheat, 15 beans, and 5 honey into the cooking pot, then call four other Pokémon to help the chef out by using follow me. Once everyone is ready you can get the curry started. It will take around 10 real-life minutes to complete.

Speak to Greedent after the curry is finished to start the party for real. After a short while Volcanion will appear on the top of the volcano and lava will begin to pour out. Professor Tangrowth tells you to climb to the top of the mountain and talk to the mythical. The easiest way to get up there is to hop straight up the volcano.

Volcanion's blessing

When you speak to Volcanion they tell you that they were surprised that there was a party going on, but they aren't mad about it, even if they're not interested in joining you. Go back to the party to tell everyone that you have Volcanion's blessing, and the mythical will set off some fireworks to top off the celebration.

With the party well under way this completes the important request. The last major thing left to do in this area is to rebuild the Pokémon Center. For this you will need 25 stone, 25 copper ingots, 25 iron ingots, and 5 crystal fragments. These last pieces can be collected by using Rock Smash on the light blue crystals you find in the caverns. You will also need eight Pokémon including Graveler, Machoke and a bulldozer. The easiest one to recruit is Bonsly who can be found in Tree-shaded Red Tall Grass habitat, which is four watered grass patches surrounding a tree.

As with the last Pokémon Center we need to wait until the next day before it is completed.
