Title says it all. MaverickNate 02:07, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Honestly...
I don't think it's a good idea. With the manga, anime and Pokémon, they all have a set number. Pokémon (usually) follow the National Dex order, and the manga and anime go chronologically. We could use the template and put them in alphabetical order, but come Generation V, that is going to be a big undertaking that we'd have to fix. It does sound like a good idea in principle, however, put into action, I don't think it would work out very well. --PAK Man Talk 00:54, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, in that case, I think putting it in would be a good idea. Forgot about that darned index number... --PAK Man Talk 00:58, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think it would be a good idea. For manga and episodes and things, there is a set on what comes nex; even if it was by index number, the index number is somewhat random with no order, no one would know the order. I don't really like the idea, sorry. But I'm only one person. MaverickNate 00:59, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- And how would ability #76 be handled? That index number is used for two different abilities between the generations...--Shiningpikablu252 01:32, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
I guess I wouldn't mind doing this since a few other online Pokédexes do the same, but I'd give these articles their own templates like the Pokémon articles use Template:PokémonPrevNext, instead of using the one created for the anime. I see you noticed I already created the Move template. ^__^; However, you may want to ask TTE or whoever is in charge of setting up BulbaBot to do it automatically...Quagbert 03:59, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think Zhen still is :P I was just getting ready to start rolling them out myself. Since you're one of the head honchos, wanna see if any of them are on AIM right now?--RexRacer 04:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- I still really don't think this is a good idea. The index number lists aren't very stable, like how Cacopony and air lock are both #76. Also, the lists don't have a pattern to them, and aren't used other than in the game's deep coding. At least for Pokémon, the Pokédex uses the order by numbers, and every generation has a definite pattern, starters at start; legendaries at the end; and evolutions together, (most of the time). Episodes and manga are set up chronologically, so that is their pattern. There is no pattern for moves/abilities. The index numbers just seem like someone threw them together last minute, they are so random. I think that they are just something to put on the page, for the sake of putting something on the page. The prev/next for them seems like wasteful edits that just link one random move to the next: a bunch of time spent, without any really benefit. The only problem that you seem to bring up why we supposedly need them is because they need linked from one another, which most of them already are. And the have so many links on the page too. So, that is why I don't think it should happen. It seems like a waste of time with no benefit at the end, that you don't even want to do yourself because you are passing it onto BulbaBot. I rather this isn't done, it doesn't seem like a good idea. MaverickNate 04:10, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- I know... I think you should talk to Woopert, though. I was taking a poll and he kinda took it into his own hands, with making the templates and such...--RexRacer 04:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

My User Page
Woahh... I go away from my desk for maybe five minutes and some guy comes and makes a mess of my userpage! Thanks a bundle for the delete tag, and more importantly noticing it! I left Dumpman a little note from me as well (good to see DCM wants to play nice now too :D) Oh and by the way my User talk would have been a better place for the notice, rather than my subpage talk. But I don't really care. That page sure seems like a regular UT page at the moment! — THE TROM — 05:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Err....slow down on editing your userpage, which also includes the side pages that are related to you. Just a reminder. Up to 3 edits a day. :) ht14 22:53, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Oops, I did it a bit yesterday. Stupid Greenwich time...--RexRacer 22:54, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah....5 times...it's ok. Everyone makes mistakes... ht14 22:56, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- UT pages count under that as well? I wasn't aware of that. — THE TROM — 04:15, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- I made a template for my talk header to save bytes, and that pushed me over the daily limit. This needs to stay between you and me, guys.--RexRacer 04:27, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I read it as Ht14 was replying to my post. Although now that I think about it he would have put it on my page. Whoops! I didn't see a word... — THE TROM — 06:21, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

SpriteDex
Um, ironic? I created that template, and I wanted a different image for it. However, the image I chose (the one you reverted) was unsatisfactory and I was about to revert it anyway. LordArceus 23:05, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Before you go doubting me, why don't you check the history of the template? It was for project SpriteDex, which tries to make all sprites organized and have no links. The image that you had was a link. Thats why it was ironic--RexRacer 23:10, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, you're talking about when I mistakenly had it as a link! Well, I fixed that right before you reverted it. :p LordArceus 23:17, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I get angry when people talk in caps on my talk page, as well as when people make a post due to an edit summary that I made. Also, just because you edit something doesn't mean that I can't see what it was before. I'm extremely wary of you ever since that post on your talk page, responding to my reminder to you.--RexRacer 23:24, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

1. My caps were for emphasis, not volume. Eh, I'll get rid of them anyway. :) 2. You mean "Thanks for the informative macro," which I have since deleted because I relaized it was totally uncalled for? Please, no need to be wary of me. I'm not a flamer/n00b/vandal/anything, I'm actually quite friendly. I have nothing against you. LordArceus 23:45, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Being Nice
Resident Nice Guy? Me? Naw, I'm just one of them ;) responded to on the sub's talk page. — THE TROM — 03:24, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- Uh, thanks! I can't say that was ever my intention, but I'm glad to have done something useful around here in the 20 days I've been an active editor. Hmm, maybe I'll challenge TTE for his job next... — THE TROM — 21:14, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Title redirects
Need some help with the title redirects of the Advanced Generation episodes? I can create some and meet you halfway to save some time. Should I do this? Bulbapedian - Talk 20:35, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- Um... If you want to, sure. I kinda have a system going, though.--RexRacer 20:38, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- Then tell me presicely what it is and where I can go to begin. Bulbapedian - Talk 20:39, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Too late, he already started. I was planning on doing that, so i don't know if Kkllnn will want two extra people. LordArceus 20:45, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Okay, that's done. Does the same need to be done for the DP's? Bulbapedian - Talk 20:51, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- Al righty, so how about help with the Japanese name redirect project? I need to know where to find the Japanese symbols to do this. Don't worry about edit conflicts for this. There are more Pokemon to do than episodes between 1 and 99. Bulbapedian - Talk 20:58, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey Rex
Check ur messenger list--KukiTalk 17:46, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Umm, dude...
Could you please calm down? I'm sorry if you felt I was plagirising your version of the warning template, but I find it better to let a user know in advance if they're about to go over the limit. Chocolate((Talk to Me|Look at My Contributions)) 20:02, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry. I was pulling a Maxim. I just got back from physical therapy, we were in a car accident, and I've been really stressed for a while now because of it. I was taking it out on your template, and that was wrong of me. Please accept my apology. Thanks, --RexRacer 20:05, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Kkllnn
Well, I started to help him and Lord Arceus on the Japanese redirects project you see, and he was helpful at the beginning. Towards the end however, he felt it was a Super Contest or a battle we were competing in, which it wasn't. He began ranting the fact that he and Lord Arceus had beaten me to finishing it by teaming up. I made the implication that Kkllnn was a jerk for it, and Lord Arceus put a "jerk template" idea on Kkllnn's talk page. You can review it for yourself starting at my talk page and ending on Kkllnn's talk page. Bulbapedian - Talk 22:18, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- I still don't see what the big deal is. I don't even see how you misinterpreted that. As for them being on a team, they were already going before you joined. IDK... If you really are so upset by it then you should talk to an admin. --RexRacer 22:22, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- Right... but they could have told me that they just wanted to do it. At least in the other editing session having to do with redirecting advanced generation episodes, you told me descriptively that I should have let you do this, and that I was new so I didn't know. Besides, having help is something that should be wanted by anyone, especially in a project that involves running through each and every Pokémon. And as for LordArceus, he is liar when it came to him not having left that temoplate and then deleting it. Bulbapedian - Talk 22:30, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Undo the evil-dooers
first off, you could have just as easily editited it out in one felled swoop instead of undoing twice, but, also, us admins have the special ability to undo all edits be a single user chain edit, which i was already going to do. -- MAGNEDETH 02:08, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! kidding, its ok. -- MAGNEDETH 03:43, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Typhlosion
Since you like Quilava a lot, what do you think of Typhlosion? Chocolate((Talk to Me|Look at My Contributions)) 21:50, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- You mean, do I also like Typhlosion?--RexRacer 21:51, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, that's what I'm asking you. Chocolate((Talk to Me|Look at My Contributions)) 21:54, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Are You. .
Talking about just my actual screen name, or my overall userspace (like with my Fakémon)?
If it was with my Fakémon, I thought I just treated it like a regular article. . Thing. (Lolz.)
Sorry, I didn't realize I did it more than I should have. =( I wasn't really paying attention.

I demand you stay
Look, you were a great help with adding the Platinum move tutor info to a lot of Pokémon's pages. I'm sorry if I annoyed you, but you're a great user and you should stay for sure. Chocolate((Talk to Me|Look at My Contributions)) 22:37, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Best of luck, man
I'm not going to try and force you to stay; that'll be your own decision. I am sorry that there are people around here who've turned up the heat that little bit too much for you, but best of luck for the future. Thanks for the warning templates and for being one of the few people I trust around here. I'll look forward to seeing your name back on the Recent Changes, but only when you feel the time is right. Adios, brother. — THE TROM — 22:58, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

whats wrong
what was wrong with my tag? So i dont make the same mistake. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010
- The problem was that you had <noninclude>[[Category:Love tags]]</noninclude> in the coding. when that happens then your page becomes categorized as a love tag.--RexRacer 21:44, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for fixing that then. I owe you one. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010
Huh?
Why do blue titles look horrible to you? I have no problem with them. ♥Chocolate (Merry Christmas!) 03:03 12/18/2008
- They ruin consistancy. Also, you link to Pokémon THREE TIMES in that article. NO article should link to that that many times, especially a stub. Honestly...--RexRacer 03:05, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Teeter Dance
I'm correct on the translation, actually, and so is that trading card. Let me tell you why.
- The Japanese name of the move is "フラフラダンス" ("furafura dance").
- Game (and my) translation: Furafura is used to mean (as defined by WWWJDIC) "unsteady on one's feet, stagger, reel, totter, dizzy". Thus "Teeter Dance" is a correct translation.
- Card translation: "Hula-la Dance" isn't a poor translation, either; we can interpret "furafura" as "hula-hula," meaning two literal translations are possible: "Teeter Dance" and "Hula-Hula Dance." Note that occasionally, the card game will decide to use a translation different from the video games (one example is "Nenriki", literally "mindpower," translated in the video games as "Confusion" and in the card game as "Psyshock.")
Hope I cleared up any confusion on your part.--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 08:00, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
