Periods and the capitalization of the "P" in Pokémon makes Us feel cooler is the way to do it! :) 281Tina380 03:54, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Additionally, link templates. Wonderful. Shortlinks. Guide to them. Look it over. TTEchidna 05:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
The link is here to make things better for everyone: M-A-N-U-A-L O-F S-T-Y-L-E Never forget, never ignore, never skip anything. Got that? Please have a nice time in Bulbapedia and we hope that you will have a nice time here...(static) ALRIGHT! WHO TURNED OFF THE AUTOMATIC MESSAGE? Agent #448 DP | E 11:29, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Psst, capitalize the P in Pokémon, all the time. TTEchidna 04:33, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Ground-type, not Ground type. And make sure to capitalize type names. TTEchidna 06:47, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Also, "its" is the possessive, "it's" is the contraction. TTEchidnaFire echyGSDS! 06:51, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Types

Please stop editing the description of the moves of the types. We decided to keep them simple.Pokemaniac102 21:40, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Link Templates

Please use the link templates when linking to Pokémon names and other stuff. For example, Pachirisu instead of Pachirisu. This way, you don't unintentionally link to a disambiguation page.

For a full guide on how link templates work, look at the shortlinks. --Shiningpikablu252 21:38, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

And again. Don't link to Ekans, as that's a disambiguation page. See the list of link templates if you still don't get it. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 20:14, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Also, a when linking to abilities. --((Marton imos)) 00:02, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

The egg groups...

Um, well, the babies don't need to be mentioned; one can see from their evolved forms. As for Rina and Queenie, they're breedable with Ditto. For unknown reasons. Game Freak should fix that already. TTEchidna 01:07, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

design basis article

Don't readd dragons. That's not the place... Oh, and worm is a more correct term than grub, which is a slang term... --electAbuzzzz (TALK) 12:38, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

This article is about what the Pokémon were designed after NOT what they actually are. Sudowoodo and Bonsly are BOTH based on bonzai trees rather than rocks. And Gible and the rest of its family are designed after sharks even though they live on land. --ケンジガール 23:44, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Signing

Instead of putting PDL at the end of your comments, please sign using four tildes (~~~~). This puts a link to your userpage (even if you haven't made one yet) along with a timestamp so people know when you posted. For more information, see the signature policy. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 22:18, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Please

Could you possibly use the preview button when editing that page, you can also edit the entire page all at the same time and add one humungous, informative edit instead of many small edits. People might get mad if they see you editing the same page over and over again with one edit directly after another, just try to use the preview button, okay? MoldyOrange 01:13, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Can you also be careful with your grammar? "It is=it's" Its is similar to dog's. It's possessive. ht14 01:50, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

*sad, crying eyes*

Pleaaaaase... please, please please use the right its. IT'S = contraction of "IT IS". ITS = possessive of IT. Memorize it! TTEchidna 05:44, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah....the top... ht14 01:50, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Once again, its, not it's... ht14 13:17, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Berry Affinities?

What is all this talk about "berry affinities?" Buizel likes the Wacan Berry? Donphan likes the Passho Berry? I have a hunch this is all fanon. Dialgarules 00:14, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Oh, I get it... But I think there's an article already that says what kind of stuff (including berries) you can find on wild Pokémon. Go ask someone. Dialgarules 00:18, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
OK, OK, they're not fanon. But please remember that we're trying to be "Grammatically correct." Their means something that belongs to they/them; They're means they are. Don't get into an edit war with me, please. I already have like fifteen warnings for doing that. Dialgarules 00:23, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
I guess it makes sense when you say it like that. What does PDL stand for, anyway? Dialgarules 00:28, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Where do you find all this berry info anyway? Dialgarules 23:39, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Cue Ball

"has anyone heard of the term "cue ball" to describe someone who is bald?"

yes, i have, many times. no, im not bald though. -- MAGNEDETH 19:55, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

That was a rhetorical question PDL 19:56, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
hey, you asked, i answered. btw, you dont have to go to my page to respond, its a hell of a lot easier to keep the convo on one page. -- MAGNEDETH 19:58, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
yes i do, it was a play on a play. forget it.. -- MAGNEDETH 20:08, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Diets

What you're putting in those diets in unknown. So, please don't put it there. From what I know, speculation is not allowed, so... CuboneKing 03:14, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

...Nearly every article has the diet blank. It's better than things we don't know. I really don't want to start an edit war. CuboneKing 03:20, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
It's not up to me why the diet section is there. If it were me, it wouldn't be there, except on Pokémon with confirmed diets. Really, I don't want to end up in an edit war. CuboneKing 03:31, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

expanding the diet sections: good idea. however, where are you getting these "facts" about their diets? -- MAGNEDETH 01:56, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Regretably, it's mostly guesswork since offical sources don't usually depiect any sort of prefered diet aside from just the usual Pokémon food or human food. Sorry if this isn't acceptable :\ PDL 02:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
well, i know what you mean but yes, they need to be facts. the best place to look is the anime and Pokedex entries. of course, now you know why the Diet sections are so empty. also, dont go to my page t respond, its easier to keep the convo in one place. -- MAGNEDETH 02:11, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

It isn't

watch out for those "its" and "it's". -- MAGNEDETH 02:03, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

It was mentioned previously but..

Possibly consider using the preview button more often when editing. Even if you're positive it'll turn out how you want it, it'd better to be safe than sorry (and not to mention it'd also prevent flooding the Recent Changes). Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 18:22, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Couple things

First, breaking down the Egg Groups is kinda pointless. We don't do it for types, so not notable. Second, don't remove spaces after stars (*), in fact, if you see them without, add them. -- MAGNEDETH 04:49, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:55, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Linking

Hey there! I just wanted to let you know that when you're linking to a page, using spaces is preferred rather than using underscores. So, for example, this: Undiscovered (Egg Group) is what Bulbapedia uses, and not this: Undiscovered_(Egg_Group). Thanks! Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:42, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Could you please help me with making an "R"-ticle? (Pun aside, an article for R)

I need some help. I saw that you made this change for Berserk Gene & I thought you'd be a great person to ask. Anyway, currently R redirects to Trainer Tower#In the Pokémon Adventures manga. However, R is actually an important substance in the Detective Pikachu game. I created User:Unowninator/R as per the advice of Chosen, but... I'm really bad at Language Arts, so I'm just can't write a whole article by myself. Can you please help me write it? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 22:47, 20 November 2018 (UTC)

Never mind; Abcboy did it for me. ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 02:23, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
