Please don't remove the trivia about Chikorita's gender without verifying with the original episode. I have already said that it was Nurse Joy the stated it. Not Misty. Not Brock. Not the narrator. Nurse Joy. I am unable to find the original version of the episode online, and I am probably unlikely to be able to anyway. So unless you can verify if Nurse Joy says it, do not remove it.--ForceFire 14:51, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
- I PMed you a copy of the episode through the forums. Please check it out. --Janjtv (talk) 15:11, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
- I'm gonna chime in here, Force Fire, may I ask, did you actually watch the episode and verify it yourself? Or are you just assuming Kenji-Girl's comment on Ash's Bayleef's talk page is correct without confirming it.
- You are asking Janjtv to confirm the information to be incorrect, but that's not how it works, you have to prove something to be correct not respond with, can't prove it, not even gonna look.
- If Bayleef is going to stay female it needs verification otherwise the information could be incorrect and in order to avoid giving misinformation it must say "unknown". Thanks, Huntress (talk) 15:53, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
- ... I said the original, Japanese version, not the English dub. It's gender was stated in the original Japanese episode by nurse Joy. The English dub proves nothing.
- As I stated, Huntress, I can't find the original Japanese episode and probably never will considering it's an old episode, so I have not seen it. Someone who has access to the original Japanese episode needs to verify it. I'm not saying what Kenji-Girl said was right or wrong, but if someone wants to remove it, they need to provide a source. They can't just remove it.--ForceFire 16:35, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Important, just watched it on Amazon Prime Japan: https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%9D%E3%82%B1%E3%83%83%E3%83%88%E3%83%A2%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B9%E3%82%BF%E3%83%BC-%E9%87%91%E9%8A%80%E7%B7%A8/dp/B01K3SBKN4 Nurse Joy did not confirm it to be a female, so unless it was confirmed in some other way the information is incorrect.Huntress (talk) 17:07, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
