By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Talk Pages

Bulbapedia has a policy about talk pages, if a post is more than six months old, we should start a new topic instead of using an old one.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 15:42, 24 September 2022 (UTC)

I was unaware. Thank you for amending my comment to suit the policy. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 15:47, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
That wasn't me but thought you should be made aware to avoid it happening again--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 15:49, 24 September 2022 (UTC)

Ash's Gengar

If you consider Bulbapedia to be a lost cause, you are welcome to leave but for the record, Ash's Gengar may be a different colour to normal Gengar but it's colours do not match the normal shiny Gengar.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 09:11, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Yes, *and*? Are you illiterate? --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 15:09, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Attacks

Insulting others when you respond, with accusations such as "illiterate", is not acceptable. (If I were at my computer, I might be able to find more recent examples (like above even), but this was the one that jumped out at me for now.)

I suggest you take a day to cool off and come back with a more cooperative frame of mind. If you continue your attacks, you will find yourself on an involuntary break. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:42, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

I will not be taking a break. The bad faith mischaracterization of the logical argument I am presenting and systemic edit warring, etc. is ridiculous. Yes, I'm edit warring. At this point I'm admitting as much. But people like Atrius are edit warring and then claiming they're not, etc. So, let's all agree to drop the pretense of formality or that there's any capacity for civil cooperation.
Is it or is it not the policy of this wiki to present fanon/fanterms/fan definitions of official terms as 'official'? Please state it plainly. If you cannot, I suggest banning me. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 18:48, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Do you really think this is the best way to resolve this discussion?
You're flooding at least four talk pages because you don't know the meaning of something that all the media in the franchise have made very clear. The advice they gave you is great, take a break from the internet, calm down and stop stressing about it. You don't need to answer me, or go to my talk page, I won't reply to this message.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 19:05, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Of course you won't reply to the message - you can't read it, you're illiterate. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 19:11, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Dude please just stop with the vandalism and insults. Calling people illiterate isn't going to make anyone see what you want them to, it just makes you look immature and childish.Ruinedstego (talk) 19:16, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Dude they're genuinely illiterate and they're pretending they're not --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 19:17, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Admin Warning

We've tried being reasonable with you, stop it. Bulbapedia is meant to be a friendly place where we can talk about Pokemon and have fun, you are ruining it for us. Either calm down or face a tempoary or permanent block from Bulbapedia.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 19:22, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Do you see why you are illiterate? I plainly asked above: Is it or is it not the policy of this wiki to present fanon/fanterms/fan definitions of official terms as 'official'? Please state it plainly. If you cannot, I suggest banning me. Like, answer the question or ban me. How hard is that? --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 19:23, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Don't edit your welcome with your own opinion. If you get blocked, don't blame me for trying to warn you.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 19:29, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Opinion? It's clearly case in point. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 19:29, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Block

Your behaviour today has been nothing but childish and offensive so as a result, you have been given a three day block. Calm down or that block could be more permanent.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 19:49, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Please do so. You aren't able to do as much as answer a simple question. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 19:52, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Vandalism

A petty edit like this just because people disagree with you is absolutely unacceptable. Your block is currently for 3 days, but rest assured that if you repeat this behavior, you could very well face a permanent ban. Being unhappy is fine, but don't take out your anger in ways that you know perfectly well are unjustifiable except by your hurt.

Also, regarding your "vandalism" of your own talk page, just... don't be a dick. Please and thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:54, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

It's not vandalism. It is your own stupid and incorrect logic being put into practice. In the Discord server, you are currently claiming that this is false;
  • Shiny Pokémon: Any alternatively colored Pokémon.
and this is correct:
  • Shiny Pokemon: Any alternatively colored Pokémon, but only of a particular coloration that matches the mainline video games.
Then that means you're saying Shining Mewtwo isn't Shiny, and Mudkip Star isn't shiny. You know why it seems like vandalism? Because it's stupid. What you're saying is fucking stupid. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 20:00, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
