  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

Duplicate sections on "Staryu (Pokemon)" talk page

Hi Admins (wherever you are),

I was trying to add a section in the Staryu talk page and I forgot to sign off with the four tildes (*le gasp*)! When I tried to submit it I noticed the "conflict" message, so I thought my edit wasn't submitted yet. I tried to go back a page and edit it in there, but it turns out I made two of the same sections once I hit Submit the second time. Can any of you delete the first duplicate? Thanks.

Responding to old talk page comments

Please note that it's against our talk page policy to add to a discussion that's been inactive for more than 6 months. The comments you tried to respond to on Talk:Deoxys (Pokémon) were 8 years old. Thanks. But now idk if I want to bring it up, since 1) it's been inactive for a really long time, as you said, and 2) it would make the talk pages a bit disorganised imo. So I don't wanna mess up anything.
