Localized names

Hello! I've seen you're updating the Latin American Spanish names now that Pokémon GO has been localized into it, so could you please tell me where you're getting the names from? I would like to know this to add any Brazilian Portuguese names that have not been accounted here in Bulbapedia yet (like Sandsear Storm, which you've added). Latin American Spanish names

I notice you have been adding a lot of Latin American Spanish names to articles, particularly for locations not featured in Legends: Z-A or Pokémon GO. Presumably these names are coming from Pokémon HOME (and the few I checked do line up), but you're not specifying this in your edits. Could you please make sure to include the sources you're using in your edit summary when adding Latin American Spanish names to articles? Even if the entire edit summary is just "Pokémon HOME", that makes it much clearer that you do actually have a source for the names (rather than simply being your own translations). Yes, pretty much every name I added was from HOME. I'll make sure I state the source when making future edits. DashM500 (talk) 15:14, 5 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
