Previewing edits
Hi there! Thanks for your contributions to the Auroma Park page. I noticed you've made a number of edits there! If it helps, there's a way to make the changes you want all in one go.
On mobile, an automatic preview comes up when you continue beyond the editing screen, allowing you to look over your changes and make sure everything looks right. If you have more to add or found something that needs fixed, you can tap the back button on the top left to continue editing without saving. You can do this as many times as you want until the edit is ready to publish. It's a handy tool!
Thanks again for improving and expanding our Pokémon UNITE content. Love to see more folks helping out there. Let me know if you ever have any questions, and happy editing! Landfish7 11:30, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oh sorry about that.
- I always forget to save my edits before taking a short break. Every once in a while, the page refreshes, deleting all of my edits, which is why im constantly saving.
- I'll keep that in mind though. Thank you. Happy editing to you too :) Arcaninehero (talk) 13:06, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- That's valid. I wonder if continuing past the editing screen and staying on the page preview would prevent the edit from being lost. Could also periodically copy the content of the page over to a note in your Notes app and save it there. Otherwise, I totally get breaking up the edit here and there, especially if you're adding a substantial amount of content. Landfish7 14:32, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- I could try that in the sandbox. But in the mainspace, better safe than sorry. Thanks for understanding. Arcaninehero (talk) 14:48, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- I've tried your suggestion(of staying on the page preview), but no it doesn't work. Thanks anyway though. Arcaninehero (talk) 13:06, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
- It was worth a try ^^". It's usually ideal to do large edits/additions on desktop, but I recognize that that's not always available as an option for everyone. Fwiw, mobile browsers usually have a way to access desktop mode, but it can be kinda awkward to use for some. Appreciate you doing your best! Landfish7 14:10, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
