Scarlet's Floragato (Japanese: スカーレットのニャローテScarlet's Nyarote) is Scarlet's third known Pokémon. She received her from Director Clavell. As of PASV25, she is at level 26 and her Characteristic is that she is "somewhat stubborn."
History
Scarlet received Floragato as a Sprigatito from Director Clavell after infiltrating Uva Academy. She first appeared in Skillful! The Mysterious Treasure Hunter!!, where Scarlet sent her out to battle a Chest Form Gimmighoul. Sprigatito made quick work of it and helped collect up the 60 coins it dropped, bringing Scarlet's total to 88. Later, during the Gym battle against Katy, Sprigatito was sent out to battle Nymble. She struggled at first to counter Nymble's hit and run strategy, but managed to overcome it by using Leafage to cut off its escape path. With nowhere to run, Sprigatito knocked it out. She then faced Teddiursa, but lost when the Little Bear Pokémon Terastallized into a Bug-type.
In PASV08, Sprigatito once again battled a Chest Form Gimmighoul; she managed to defeat it without Scarlet having her vitality drained by the Coin Chest Pokémon.
In Stream! Iono Zone!!, Scarlet used Sprigatito as her first choice in her Gym battle against Iono and her Wattrel. Despite the type-disadvantage, Sprigatito was able to defeat her opponent with a Leafage-Seed Bomb combo. She then evolved, exciting the audience, before being swapped out for Armarouge. She came out in the next chapter to face Mismagius. She was immediately confused by Confuse Ray and knocked herself out with her own attacks.
In PASV22, Scarlet accidently sent out Floragato in her battle against Atticus because of the psychedelic poison she was suffering from. At a heavy type-disadvantage, she was defeated by a single Sludge Wave from Muk.
Personality and characteristics
Floragato has been shown to have a friendly and helpful exterior, assisting Scarlet in her treasuring hunting tasks. Despite her friendliness, she will ignore others if it gets in the way of the job, as seen when she focused on collecting coins over helping a drained Nemona. During battle she becomes much more aggressive and fierce.
