Hi there! I'm Merik Derath, a 23 year-old aspiring Pokémon Master, originally from the Kanto region. I've since worked my way through to the Sinnoh region, and have a fairly balanced team of Pokémon that accompany me, although I am partial to the Ground type. My most faithful companion, my female Charizard Pyra, has followed me ever since Professor Oak gave her to me as my first Pokémon.
