What you're thinking of apparently never had an official template. Straight off Lyra's page in her Soul days, right up until her name was revealing in the Jp!version:
The subject of this article has no official name. The name currently in-use is a fan designator; see below for more information. |
It's just coding. So you aren't wrong....but no, apparently we don't have a template. How about making this template use that coding? Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 18:47, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- I say that we put that code onto the page. It makes it look like all the other notice templates. --SnorlaxMonster 02:43, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
Edit proposal
Any chance of making this template smaller? It's so big and for many articles it's on, it will be a permanent or long-lasting feature, so can we make it smaller (and maybe not pink? Like grey or something)? —★レシイラムtalk 13:32, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
- Saw this template at the top of all seven of the Generation articles (e.g. Generation VII) and came here to ask the exact same question, only to find that it's already been raised for three years. Is it possible to reduce the height of the template or otherwise make it a lot less visually jarring? Blueapple128 (talk) 02:38, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- Bump. One simple way to do this might be to just replace the Unown artwork with its minisprite instead. There's no real reason for the banner to have to be taller than two lines. Blueapple128 (talk) 00:52, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
- Bump #2. The extreme amount of padding above and below the text is literally more than quadrupling the size of the banner (108 pixels vs 26 pixels). Shrink please? Blueapple128 (talk) 16:35, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- The style of the template at the moment is consistent with the other notice templates. The Chinese wiki has a similar template as well, which is even larger. --Abcboy (talk) 18:08, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- I'd like to compare this template to three other templates: Template:Incomplete on this wiki, the old grey rectangular version of this template above, and Template:暂译 on the Chinese language wiki. In all three cases, the color of the template is relatively dull, the Pokémon artwork is around 50×50, and the banner's height is around 70 pixels. But in the current version of this template, the color is a bright pink, the Pokémon artwork is 80×80, and the 80-pixel height alone is increasing the banner's height to nearly 110 pixels, approximately doubling the padding. So the style is currently not consistent with other notice templates, and there isn't any reason for the artwork to be so big.

- Is there any reason why we can't change this:

- and match the size shown in the other three examples? Blueapple128 (talk) 02:46, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
- Bumping once more because this is now at the top of the prominent Generation VIII article. All the reasons are listed above. Blueapple128 (talk) 21:08, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
