Usage
- epcode:number of episode.
- colorsceme:The color of the infobox.
- title_en:The English name of the episode.
- title_ja:The Japanese name of the episode.
- title_ja_trans:The rough translation of the Japanese title.
- screen=yes:puts an image from the episode in the template. If there is no image available,this will not be used.
- broadcast_jp:The date of broadcast in Japan.
- broadcast_us:The date of broadcast in America.
- en_series:The name of the series of the episode in English.
- en_op:The English opening theme.
- ja_op:The Japanese opening theme.
- ja_ed:The Japanese ending theme.
- olmteam:The name of the team who worked on the animation.
- scenario:The Japanese name of the person in charge of the screenplay.Also triggers the English name.
- storyboardn:The number of people on the storyboard.
- storyboard1:The Japanese name of the first person who worked on the storyboard.
- storyboard2:The Japanese name of the second person who worked on the storyboard.

Can we make the thumbnail picture a tad bigger? Most of the screenshots available are big enough to be like 640 x 480, which is twice the size of the 320 x 240 from EP to the middle of DP but still. The thumbnails seem to be smaller than if you just put thumb as part of the file coding. We have such magnificent images, but we're holding them in regret, we should just love them and show them off. They looked fantastic when they were set to hd, even though apparently that's a bad thing, and I've got a much bigger display, so maybe it's just me. D: --P S Yライダー☮ 16:56, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Request: Raising the allowed numbers for Assistant Directors and Animation Directors
In XY103, a total number of four possible to show assistant directors is needed when only three are allowed by this template (it will jump back to 1 if it's higher than 3).
In JN059, a total number of twelve possible animation to show directors is needed when only ten are allowed by this template (it will also jump back to 1 if it's higher than 9).

Suggesting a rework
This template is currently tailored for TV anime releases. It works fine for those, but it doesn't work so well for live-action series such as Pack Your Pocket With Adventure, or series not broadcast on TV such as Pokémon: Path to the Peak. Several of the fields are non-applicable and end up being left blank (animation directors when it's live action, broadcast date when it wasn't on TV, etc), which looks messy.
Another issue is the large amount of duplicated credits fields (director 1-5, art 1-16, etc). It would probably be cleaner to have a subtemplate for these credits, and then include the subtemplate as many times as needed instead of having multiple dedicated fields. This would be easier to manage, and also scalable if some episode came out with 10 directors or 20 animation directors.
Suggested solutions:
- Make subtemplates specifically for live-action TV media and non-television animated media. There is a risk that some media not meeting either case comes out later (live-action but not on TV?), but this would at least resolve the current use cases.
- Convert this template into modular pieces, so that the displayed fields can be customized. For example: have opening/ending as subtemplates, so they only appear if called. This way, only episodes that that actually have an opening/ending song would display the section. Ditto for animation director or other credits.
