Multiple ISBNs

Since the ISBN parameter is directly fed into Template:ISBN, there's no support for multiple ISBNs (ISBN-10 vs ISBN-13, books with multiple editions and therefore different ISBNs). Superfrog101 (talk) 23:57, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

Generally, we only need to list either the ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 (typically the ISBN-13 where it's listed, or ISBN-10 for older works that only list an ISBN-10). For books with multiple editions, {{Publications}} should be used. --Abcboy (talk) 01:12, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

That makes sense. Minor issue is that the Publications template will put the article in the "Manga volumes in need of covers" category if no cover is provided for the publication. Not really helpful if it's a book article. Superfrog101 (talk) 13:04, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
