Talk:Strength Sap (move)

Heal Block

Does Heal-Block prevent Strength Sap entirely or is the Attack still lowered but only the healing effect is blocked?

Or does Heal Block not prevent Strength Sap? --Prankster20 (talk) 14:17, 2 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Opponent with Unaware

If Strength Sap is used on an opponent with Unaware, are its stat changes ignored?

Hi!!!

Does Bellossom learn this move? - unsigned comment from TT!! (talkcontribs)

Bellossom only learns it through breeding, as Oddish is in the breeding table. If a pokemon doesn't show up in the level up or tm/tr tables, always double-check the breeding table for the base form, just in case. :D Kai * the Arc Toraph 00:24, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Seiva Forte (Brazilian Portuguese)

The sentence "Seiva Forte" as the Brazilian Portuguese's localization to Strength Sap sounds like a mistranslation. It literallys translates to "strong sap", not "strength sap". Where does it comes from? Official animation dub? Manga translation? TCG?

Just for information purposes, the literal translation would be "Seiva da Força" (and, in my frank opinion, even this wouldn't have make sense)

It was added to the page in August 2017, in their edit summary the user said it came from the Burning Shadows TCG expansion, so presumably from the Portuguese version of this card. Minibug (talk) 11:26, 3 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
