Talk:Moxie (Ability)

Latest comment: 30 December 2012 by Pokemaster97 in topic Pokéstar Studios?

In doubles and triples battles, does this ability also take affect when knocking out your team mate? Also, in doubles or triples battles, if two or more Pokemon are knocked out at once, does the Pokemon with this ability's attack increase for each Pokemon it knocks out? --BradRepko 11:12, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it will cause a stat increase in that situation. --Trance 11:17, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Does it raise the attack for each Pokemon knocked out by a single move, or just once? --BradRepko 11:21, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

It will get a boost everytime a pokemon is knocked out as a result of your attack. PikaNinja7 16:34, 9 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

What the Houndoom does Moxie means? --Flamemario12 11:53,December 28 (UTC)

I believe he meant the meaning of the word "Moxie", not the effect of this ability. --Maxim 12:00, 28 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Look at the dates of the posts. The post by Flamemario12 was made just recently. All the other posts were made weeks ago. Flamemario12 posted his question before the earlier posts instead of after like he should have. I'm going to rearrange the posts so that they are in chronological order.--Alex726(TALK) 22:56, 28 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
And to answer the question, Moxie in this sense is defined as "courage and aggresiveness", and can also mean "skill". --RiverAura 05:52, 13 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

2 Abilities

It says it will not work if a Pokémon is knocked out by rough skin, but how would a Pokémon have moxie AND rough skin? Mastergiygas11 18:09, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Pokéstar Studios?

Where should it be mentioned that Pokémon with Moxie are barred from starring in a Pokéstar Studios movie? --Abcboy (talk) 23:53, 29 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

It's not true. Pokémon with Transform cannot enter though.--Den Zen 00:01, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Why is my Sandile banned then? It has these moves: Torment, Sand Tomb, Assurance, and Mud-Slap. It has the Ability Moxie and isn't holding anything. --Abcboy (talk) 00:35, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
The move Torment is what's banned. - Blazios talk 00:56, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Should it be mentioned on Torment or just on the Pokéstar Studios page? --Abcboy (talk) 01:00, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
I don't think that a "banned moves" section on the Pokéstar Studios page would be a bad idea. --Pokemaster97 02:49, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
