Talk:Mind Reader (move)

Shouldn't this be listed as a variation of Lock-On? --Bbbbbbbbba 08:56, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Does this (and lock on) affect the success of OHKO moves such as Horn Drill or Fissure?Talonos 00:57, 16 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes. —darklordtrom 01:01, 16 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

When I was fighting a hyper-Minimized Muk, Mind Reader MISSED. What's going on here? SoItBegins 11:19, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Baton Pass?

Can this be passed to another Pokémon via Baton Pass?--FromCrimsonToWool (talk) 05:28, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes. --Abcboy (talk) 05:30, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Shouldn't that be mentioned in the article then?--FromCrimsonToWool (talk) 09:52, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
How can this be passed to if it's only for next attack? Marked +-+-+ (talk) 09:58, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Well, this and this both say they can --Abcboy (talk) 15:30, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hmm...

Does anyone else think the Articuno in Freeze Frame used Mind Reader? (Specifically, the part about 15 minutes in where its eyes glowed red.) I get the feeling Ash and Todd feeling as though Articuno knew their intention was meant to hint at it having been used. (Plus it would explain how Articuno did know that. ;p) That dialogue might be dub-specific, though. (I have no way to check either way.) RiverShock (talk) 02:27, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the research template on the page (Precedence over Rage Powder)

I already wrote this on Lock-On's discussion page. Lock-On and Mind Reader do not take precedence over Follow Me/Rage Powder. Rage Powder will attract Mind Reader on the turn that it is used, and the same thing will happen if an attacking move is aimed at a locked-on target, Rage Powder will attract it.
