Type-specific candy

Is there a point in having type-specific Candy here, if over half of them don't even have any acquisition methods? Pokemon-specific Incense isn't listed, since it has its own page. Candies have a page too, so I think it could either be trimmed down to just the Candies that have an acquisition method or type-specific Candy could be removed from here altogether. In theory the Incense page should probably have a list of incense release dates, but I think part of the reason are incenses might be listed a bit different since all types share an icon and it's just the pop in that's different? --Spriteit (talk) 13:20, 8 August 2025 (UTC)

I think there is a point in having type-specific Candy here: it makes it a comprehensive list of all items in the game. I think Pokémon-specific incense should be added to this list too. We don't have to list it for every species, but one of each type would be good. For example, in the Masters list, the vouchers and Legendary Prize Coins are color-coded by type but have different names in different events, so the voucher/coin for each type is listed once.

The Masters list is kind of my gold standard for list of items pages, honestly. It lists out almost everything; the only items that it doesn't list out type gear and in-battle items. In both of those cases, there's a section on another page that is exclusively a list of those items, so the list of items links to those sections. Sleep's Candy and Incense pages don't have lists like that, so we ought to list them here.

(On a tangentially related note, I'm not a huge fan of the recent edit that reorganized the items section, because it's kind of just a random order now. I think items should be listed in the order they appear in the bag, which I'm pretty sure the old order was.) Storm Aurora (talk) 15:51, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
