Galar
As in all the episodes in this series, it is not explicitly stated the city or region they are traveling in... I know it is obvious by the aesthetic (esp. the forest) but is it correct to state they are in Galar?

Misty's Azurill
Where's Misty's Azurill in this episode? - unsigned comment from PokemonBR (talk • contribs)
- It's on Misty's right when she makes her first appearance standing on the ledge. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 08:38, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
"the group runs into Glimwood Tangle"
A number of edits have been made, to this article and otherwise, on the basis that it had been assumed wrongly that this episode is set in Galar. If this episode involves Glimwood Tangle, then it would be known to be set in Galar; so, if it is not known to be set in Galar, the mention of Glimwood Tangle is inappropriate, right? Episode's location
The mentions of this episode taking place in Galar were removed last year. While it is true that the names of the locations in this episode are not mentioned, I respectfully disagree. The architecture, color scheme, and design of the town the group meets in resemble those of Stow-on-Side from earlier in Journeys. The same goes with the forest and Glimwood Tangle from earlier in the same series, possessing the same glowing mushrooms and dark atmosphere. There's also the fact that the forest is inhabited by Galar Pokémon known to live in Glimwood Tangle. As such, my opinion is that there's enough artistic evidence to prove that this episode takes place in Stow-on-Side and Glimwood Tangle, so said information should be restored to the article. -- FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 23:25, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- It's a tough one. For me there's a lot of similarity too. But given that Ash is traveling all over the world at this point and the place wasn't mentioned by name, I think the safest thing to say is that it 'bears resemblance to' in the trivia, and let the reader make up their own mind. - Bulbapedia has previously used similar move animations as evidence of a move being used despite it not necessarily being named. I feel the same could be applied to locations as well, especially in this case, given the drastic similarities. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:11, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
