Rework proposal

I find updating new Field Researches incredibly tiresome given the current format, and overtime, the list becomes very ugly and hard to read. I made a template proposal to help better list the Field Rewards:

User:TehPerson/Research
Example
Catching Pokémon
Catch 10 Pokémon

Magikarp

Teddiursa

Catch a Dragon-type Pokémon

Dratini

Catch 5 Fighting-type Pokémon

Catch 10 Ground-type Pokémon

Diglett

Catch 10 Normal-type Pokémon

I'm thinking that we can just separate the Research tasks by the dates they were available in expandable tables, showing the most recent ones on top. And each category "catching pokemon, evolving, etc." gets its own table. TehPerson (talk) 07:31, 7 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I think it looks cleaner and better so if you say it's easier to work with I say go for it. --Raltseye prata med mej 12:14, 7 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
I'd probably continue using the menu sprites to be honest, the models are too small, how would you show prior rewards too, specifically by time they were available? --Spriteit (talk) 07:34, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Most of the other online guides tend to like grouping all tasks for a certain period together, like on my Userspace draft (still a work in progress). I'd say we could make a separate List of Field Research tasks list to archive old tasks, and only keep current Field Research tasks on this page. TehPerson (talk) 17:50, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
My only issue with that is do we have reliable information for item changes? --Spriteit (talk) 06:17, 16 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes we do. The other online guides are pretty quick to update whenever Field Research shuffles. It's also the case that for most rotations, item rewards very often don't change. TehPerson (talk) 14:50, 16 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Having trouble editing the grid, but...

...sending 10 gifts gives Sneasel, Slakoth's quest is gone, and earning 3 candys walking gives me Ponyta. I can't figure out how to edit the table right; can someone please help me? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 03:53, 15 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
