Where is this confirmed?

The article says that Glowdrops can't cleanse Dark Rust's rust (lol, that sounded redundant). I know the story well, but I don't recall anything like that. Is this claimed in the Japanese version of the game or something? If this isn't mentioned anywhere, I'm going to remove it. Uncle Edit (talk) 18:02, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

Psychic Type

I'm removing this reference, because as far as I can tell Dark Rust is never said to be Psychic type in-game, and I haven't been able to find any legit sources to confirm this. The only other sites I can find mentioning this are fanon type sites that mostly just copy info from here. Some of these site also say it's weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark type moves, and IF that's true(and I doubt it, since I can't find proof of that either), it technically only implies that it could be a Psychic type, but according to a user on Japanese help blog site post that I don't care to relocate at the moment, Dark Rust has no type or weaknesses. Although, that probably can't be considered a reliable source either. It could be possible that it is coded as Psychic type in-game and just never stated, but I haven't seen anything to confirm that, and the article doesn't really give the impression that the game has been extensively datamined for that type of info like you see in the articles for Bittercold, Dark Matter and Void Shadows from the Mystery Dungeon series. I think it is much more likely that it is coded to be Typeless like the Mystery Dungeon enemies are, but I would love to be proven wrong here. As far as I've been able to tell the Psychic typing seems to be speculation based on its ability to control Rusty Pokemon. I know we don't generally allow speculation here, but if we're going that route I think you could just as easily make a case for it to be Dark or Steel type.--MechaMew5000 (talk) 08:07, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
