Black and White Versions 2

Are these games ever really abbreviated BW?
Maybe the ones who wrote that meant "BW can refer to the mainline Generation V games, Black and White Versions, and Black and White Versions 2." (i.e. BW+B2W2). TorNyan (talk) 12:49, 7 December 2025 (UTC)

i've never heard the sequels abbreviated as BW, they're always B2W2 or BW2. BittersweetVICTORY (talk) 23:02, 7 December 2025 (UTC)

I guess it wouldn't be very common to search BW if specifically wanting B2W2 but I would think it's partly because the full names of the two sets of games only differ by the '2' at the end. Thespeon196 (talk) 00:31, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
