Ash's bodyslam/tackle/takedown

There are references to Ash's tendency to throw himself at objects made in this episode, and Ash names this technique officially as "Takedown". I guess I'm not sure if cannon-status jokes are consistently documented.

EDIT: It seems these references are not important, as the one I'm familiar with in M05 has been removed. Disinfect 04:38, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Professor Oak's recipe

The scene where Brock mention's Oak's Pokéblock recipe is marked in the "Errors" section because Brock mentions Snorlax instead of Munchlax. However, in episode The Garden of Eating, Oak helps the gang with a wild Snorlax, and he mentions his new Pokéblock, using Ash's Snorlax as an example, and saying he will give the recipe to Brock. The Pokéblocks in both episodes are even the same pink color, so it's most lkely a referece. Brunotheechidna (talk) 16:56, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

I checked the Japanese version of the episode, and Brock mentions Snorlax in that version too. So instead of being an error or a subtle reference, I actually think Brock is talking about either Ash's Snorlax or Marcel's Snorlax from AG088, where the recipe was introduced and used to satisfy both Snorlax. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:28, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
