Static Cling (Japanese: 被攻撃時相手にまひ付与Inflict Paralysis on Opponent When Attacked) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon is attacked by an opponent, it has a chance to inflict paralysis on the opponent that attacked them. The skill can range from Static Cling 1 to Static Cling 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of paralyzing the target. Static Cling 9 will always paralyze the target.
Most sync pairs that have access to Static Cling are formed with Pokémon that have Abilities in the core series games that can inflict paralysis on opposing Pokémon that deal contact damage.
Although Banette and Polteageist do not have access to Abilities that inflict paralysis, they both have access to Cursed Body, which disable the attacking Pokémon's contact moves instead.
