:1) Add new sections to the bottom of talk pages, 2) do not edit in <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> if you forget it, as that inserts an incorrect timestamp; instead add <nowiki>{{unsigned|[username]}}</nowiki>, 3) the paragraph you wished to remove is not worded so well in some places, but it does contain facts and should not be removed completely, as you were doing.
