:Yes, I believe this is the only mechanical difference. ::Should this be mentioned in the article, since while limited to one move, it is in principle quite a big change? (As a sidenote: I think the background colors in at least Gen V and Gen VI pick one type at random. At least in X and O-Ruby the background is chosen at random for two-typed Pokémon.
