Error code is for Gen I, while Error message is for Gen II. In Gen I, it shows numbers and the word error in a dialog box when the game found an error, while in Gen II, it really shows messages in a dialog box when it found an error. So thats why this article must be split into two. Pokéfan95 (talk) 01:31, 5 April 2015 (UTC) | Error code is for Gen I, while Error message is for Gen II. :I oppose the split. "Error code" and "Error message" convey the same meaning for the purposes of the article. I prefer "Error message" since it's more generic and thus allows the article to include both the Gen I and Gen II error messages. Are you talking about things like "The internal battery has run dry. The game can still be played.", internet connection error codes, and/or error prevention messages, like when the Day Care Lady prevents you from dropping off Pokémon with only one in the party? --Abcboy (talk) 15:28, 6 April 2015 (UTC) |
