Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands a special move on the target, it has a chance of lowering the target's Sp. Def by two stat ranks. The skill can range from Spec Hit: Sp. Def ↓2 1 to Spec Hit: Sp. Def ↓2 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Spec Hit: Sp. Def ↓2 9 will always lower the target's Sp. Def by two stat ranks. Currently, only Spec Hit: Sp. Def ↓2 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
