Space Hiking

Space Hiking (Japanese: スペースハイキング Space Hiking) is the fifth course in Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure. It is based on the space bar. It is located in the blue area.
This course is unlocked by completing C Beach. Alternatively, it can be unlocked by achieving 20000 points or more on the first successful completion of X Resort, or by achieving 15000 points or more on the first successful completion of D Rocky Pass.
Completing this course unlocks Z Islands.
Gameplay
As one of the blue courses, it requires the player to type characters from a specific area on the keyboard, rather than particular Pokémon's names. As such, the Pokémon that appear here cannot be researched and Typing Balls are not used.
In this course, Pokémon roll across a tiled surface on balls that bear the first letter of their name. Vespiquen and Blastoise in the Japanese version are exceptions: they roll across balls bearing Q and X, respectively, which appear in their names.
The touch screen keyboard will highlight all the letter keys, minus those on the top row, that are typed with the finger that needs to type the current letter. In the Japanese version, the non-letter keys are also highlighted. If enough time passes without the required key being pressed, the keyboard will highlight only that key. There is also a floating keyboard in the distance that highlights all the letters typed by the hand that needs to type the current letter.
Rankings
Paige has a score of 54000 with a combo of 26 on this course.
Pokémon
There is exactly one Pokémon representing each letter. As the names of Pokémon vary across languages, the Pokémon found in this course vary between the different language versions. The English, Italian, and Spanish versions all include the same Pokémon, as Italian and Spanish Pokémon names are identical to the English names for all Pokémon up to Generation V. The European versions include mostly the same Pokémon, while the Japanese version includes a mostly different set.

Trivia
- This is the only course in which the Pokémon that appear differ between European languages.
- Charizard is the only Pokémon in the Japanese version that represents the letter that starts its romanized name (Rizādon, in Hepburn romanization), but not its trademark name (Lizardon).
- The Pokémon that appear in Space Hiking are the same that appear on the title screen when pressing the letter keys.
