The ex Starter Set Marnie's Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex (Japanese: スターターセットex マリィのモルペコ&オーロンゲex Starter Set ex Mary's Morpeko & Ohlonge ex) is a Standard Deck for the Pokémon Trading Card Game that was released in Japan on February 21, 2025. Released alongside the ex Starter Set Steven's Beldum & Metagross ex, the pair are the fifth and sixth ex Starter Set products released during the Scarlet & Violet Era.

Information

The ex Starter Set Marnie's Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex focuses on Marnie, Morpeko, and Grimmsnarl, and was released in Japan on February 21, 2025. Its two highlight cards are Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex and Marnie's Morpeko, the latter of which is included as both a standard card and an illustration rare card.

Similar to previously released ex Starter Sets, this product contains a 60-card deck with fixed contents, featuring a mixture of new cards and reprints, as well as 36 damage counters, two status markers, a two-player playmat, a player's guide, and a coin. Its suggested retail price at launch was ¥1,800.

The ex Starter Set Marnie's Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex was also released in Traditional Chinese for the Taiwan and Hong Kong markets on March 7, 2025, with a suggested retail price of NT$ 500 / HK$ 125. The Traditional Chinese set, which is part of the 挑戰牌組 Tiǎozhàn Páizǔ / Tīujin Páaijóu (lit. "Challenge Deck") product line, has contents that are largely the same as the Japanese set, but with a one-player playmat instead of a two-player playmat and a different deck composition, notably including reprints of Fezandipiti ex, Night Stretcher, and Colress's Tenacity.
