Pocket Sand 9
Lowers the target's accuracy by one stat rank when the user's attack move against it is successful during a sandstorm.
Pocket Sand (Japanese: 砂嵐時攻撃時命中率↓Accuracy Reduction During Attack in Sandstorm) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands an attack on the target while a sandstorm is the active weather condition on the field of play, it has a chance of lowering the target's accuracy by one stat rank. The skill can range from Pocket Sand 1 to Pocket Sand 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of lowering the target's accuracy. Pocket Sand 9 will always lower the target's accuracy. Currently, only Pocket Sand 4 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
The English name of this skill is likely a reference to the TV series King of the Hill, specifically a scene that has become a meme. In the scene, the character Dale Gribble throws sand out of his pocket into another man's eyes during an argument while yelling "Pocket Sand!".
