This tag was given away as part of a 7-Eleven purchase campaign that ran between November 20 and December 3, 2021. Customers at participating stores across Japan who purchased two in any combination of eligible rice balls, bread products, or premium fruit au lait beverages were given a copy of either this tag or a Dialga tag at random. Instead of a Pokédex entry or tag partner details, the tag features a QR code that led to a campaign page on the Official Pokémon Mezastar website. From November 25, 2021, players that used this tag and recorded their activity with a Memory tag could redeem a Palkia-themed T-shirt Dress-up Item through the Mezastar Club.
