The Night of the Shooting Stars (Japanese:ながれぼしのよる) is the thirteenth book in the Pokémon Daisuki Tales series. It is an interactive book written by Creatures and illustrated by Midori Harada. This book and its narration are in Japanese, and it has received an English translation. It is 24 pages long.
Plot
Meowth, Mudkip, and Staravia are watching the night sky, when a shooting star appears. The three follow after it, wondering if it landed nearby and all explore different places - Staravia searching a mountain, Mudkip the beach, and Meowth the city streets. When they meet back up, they've all brought back different items, none of which are the shooting star. However a pink star that Staravia brough back from the mountain turns out to be a sleeping Cleffa, which soon wakes up and begins to cry. The three work to bring it back home, climbing the mountain and returning the Cleffa to the Clefairy and Clefable that live there. Despite not finding the shooting star, the three make friends with the Clefairy and Clefable, helping make the trip back down the mountain less scary and more fun.
