Plot

Totodile, Chikorita, and Cyndaquil are playing a game of tag with Dunsparce, who is very good at the game. Dunsparce taunts them to catch it before running off into the forest, vanishing as the three try to chase after. Cyndaquil soon notices that Chikorita is missing - discovering that they've become stuck in a hole. Cyndaquil and Totodile run over to help, only to also fall into holes. The three complain about Dunsparce digging the holes to catch them and not playing fair, Dunsparce watching from afar. As night gets closer they wonder how they'll get out of the hole, only for Chikorita to suddenly fly up out of the hole - Dunsparce pushing the three out of their holes and them apologizing for saying it wasn't fair when it was just something they were good at. The other Pokémon come to play in Dunsparce's holes, them becoming a popular pace to play - so popular that everyone forgot about tag.
