Plot

A group of Pidgey are having a picnic in the Blue Forest, only for Butterfree to walk by - the Pidgeys shooing it off by saying its poison will make them all sick. They discuss heading into town, only for a Doduo to appear and say that everyone in town has fallen ill and the only cure is Butterfree's poison, to which the Pidgeys say that Butterfree doesn't care about anyone else. Overhearing the conversation, Butterfree heads home and packs a bag before flying off, unaware of a large storm rolling in. It flies to the town while being buffeted by the storm, forcing it to push against the wind. The storm clears out right as Butterfree makes it to town, only for its wings to give out. The moon, which had been watching over Butterfree, uses its light to grab onto it and let it spread its poison over the town, curing the sick Pokémon. The next day Butterfree wakes up in the hospital, where the Pidgey apologize to it and Pikachu says they'll hold a party that night, with Butterfree as the guest of honor.
