This card was included in the Dark Explorers expansion with artwork by Ryo Ueda, first released in the Japanese Dark Rush expansion. It was reprinted in the Fates Collide expansion with different artwork by Toyste Beach, first released in the Japanese Awakening Psychic King expansion.

Trivia
Since the representation of Fossil Pokémon in the Pokémon Trading Card Game was reworked as Restored Pokémon in the Black & White Series, this card replaces the old Old Amber card in order to prevent confusion about how the card should work.
Origin
The Old Amber is an item in the Pokémon games which can be revived into Aerodactyl.
