Release information

This card was included in the Mega Evolution expansion, first released in the Japanese Mega Brave expansion, with artwork by Whisker.

An MEP Black Star Promotional print of this card with new artwork by Ounishi was one of the Prerelease promos for Mega Evolution, available in the Mega Evolution Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing Prerelease Tournaments. The Mega Evolution print was also included in the Mega Evolution Build & Battle Box. In Japan, the MEP Black Star Promotional print is included in the MEGA Dream ex subset, with two Mirror Holofoil variants featuring either a Fighting Energy symbol or a Dusk Ball.

The card is reprinted with its Mega Evolution artwork in the Ascended Heroes special expansion, originating from the Japanese Start Deck 100 Battle Collection. The Ascended Heroes print has two Mirror Holofoil variants featuring either a Fighting Energy symbol or a Dusk Ball.
