Plot
The following is a summary of the "Let The Good Times Roll" music video.
The music video opens with four people preparing themselves and getting on a car ride to attend the 2025 Pokémon World Championships. The scene transitions into an animated 3D cel-shaded segment, where the plushies of Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Fennekin and Machamp in the car come to life, all wearing themed outfits. The quartet travels in the car, which now flies through the road, as they pass by several Pokémon on a bridge, including a Galarian Moltres battling a Shadow Feraligatr, representing the Pokémon GO portion of the Pokémon World Championships.
The music video afterwards is interspersed with various highlights from past Pokémon Regionals, Japan Championships, International Championships, and so on. The video also pays homage to previous locations where Pokémon Championships were held throughout the 2024-25 season, namely London, UK (EUIC 2025); Yokohama, Japan (Pokémon Japan Championships 2025); and New Orleans, Louisiana (NAIC 2025); as well as Beijing and Shanghai, China.
While passing through London, Pikachu and the gang in the car encounter a few other Pokémon battling a Rayquaza situated at the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, in a similar fashion to battles in Pokémon UNITE. Their car travels to Yokohama, and Pikachu's gang witness a battle between a Terastallized Dragapult and a Terastallized Charizard, representing Dragapult ex and Charizard ex, two of the most popular archetypes in the Pokémon Trading Card Game meta of the year. Squawkabilly, Bidoof, and Budew, representing commonly used cards, also appear. While in Yokohama, the gang picks up Chespin and Meowth along for the ride.
The gang passes by a parade at New Orleans, featuring various popular Pokémon that are used for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet VGC tournaments, including Ogerpon, Urshifu, Terapagos, Farigiraf, and Shadow Rider Calyrex. A four-way battle between Miraidon, Flutter Mane, Rillaboom, and Sneasler also ensues in the city. The gang finally arrives at the Anaheim Convention Center, greeted by all the other Pokémon that had appeared in previous scenes.
