Larvitar (Japanese: ヨーギラス Yogiras) is a Fighting-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Expedition Base Set.

Release information

This card was included in the Expedition Base Set, first released in the Base Expansion Pack in Japan. It was reprinted in the EX Dragon Frontiers expansion, having originated from the Japnaese Shockwave! Tyranitar ex Constructed Standard Deck.

Trivia

This is one of only four cards in EX Dragon Frontiers which isn't a Delta Species. The others are Ralts, Kirlia and Pupitar.

Origin

Bite and Mud-Slap are both moves in the Pokémon games that Larvitar can learn, the former via level-up and the latter via TM31 (in Generation II) or Move Tutor (in Generation III and IV). This card's e-Reader Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Crystal.
