Release information

In Japan, in commemoration of the theatrical release of Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark, residents of Japan were invited to participate in another Pokémon Card Design Contest in which through several Shogakukan magazines, they could submit illustrations of either Zorua or Zoroark using pre-made templates. The submission period across all publications ran from February 20 to April 2, 2010. All selected entries were announced on July 27, 2010, with the winning illustrations released as promotional cards around the same time. A standard prize with an illustration by the 2010 Pikachu Project animation team was awarded to all 660 selected entrants, whilst the 10 winning illustrators received 200 cards with their winning design. The chosen entrant prize print of this card lists Pikachu Project instead of an illustrator. The prints from the design contest all have a gold foil stamp to the right of the movie logo that reads: "Pokémon Card Game Design Contest Award." All prints of this card are unnumbered L-P Promotional cards.
