Would I be allowed?

Would I be allowed to make some usertags and put them where all the proper ones are (eg: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Template:User_Rain ). I wasn't sure if i was allowed to, or if i had to ask...So can I? D: ~~Takoto| サソデイ 10:58, 4 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bot usertag update?

I just found out how to do this:

  • <includeonly>{{#ifeq:{{NAMESPACE}}|User|[[Category:<user category>]]|}}</includeonly>

This will make the category only appear on user pages, so that they can be posted on talk pages without fear of categorization. --Raijinili 13:41, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why would we need t change it so that tags may appear on user talk with out being categorized? Tags aren't allowed on user talk because we don't want them there. So updating it so it won't appear on user talk does....User:DCM 14:43, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
You can post them there to show people what you mean. Then again, you can just link to them instead.
Chalk this up to my overexcitement about the code. Closed --Raijinili 14:57, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

User created templates

Shouldn't the page be updated to reflect the new policy and tell people to create their own user tags in the userspace, rather than in the template namespace? Werdnae (talk) 21:31, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This just in. Slow administration is slow. Please, make your way to the emergency bunkers and remain there until the headdesks have ended. —darklordtrom 21:33, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can I make a userbox div tag expandable like you have on content templates? And if yes, how? Thx in advance Latias1290 (Le Talk|Le Contribs) 14:55, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

This user does NOT liek Mudkipz?

How come the like in, "This user does NOT liek Mudkipz" Is spelled "liek". And why is there a Z Mudkipz. It should be, "This user does not like Mudkip". The Z should be left out and the liek should be spelled "like". ----Ethan (Talk) 18:27, 16 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

See {{User Mudkip}} for more information. --Super goku (talk) 18:33, 16 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

It's that way because it's referencing a popular internet meme, I Herd U Liek Mudkipz (http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-herd-u-like-mudkips) Արիանո 18:40, 16 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. But, How does that give me more information?----Ethan (Talk) 17:45, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
So i herd you liek Mudkipz? How have you not heard of it? It's an Internet meme. Google it. ☆The Solar Dragon17:54, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Nope, I never heard of it. So I guess it's sort of a funny thing and purposely has bad grammar.----Ethan (Talk) 21:05, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can somebody tell me how to create my own tag without using {{User Template}}?

I tried it, but it seems very complicated. sumwun (talk) 06:59, 8 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Should we have a usertag that says "This user is on the autism spectrum"?

If there's one for dyslexia, there should be one for autism. I myself am autistic and think it would be a good idea. Does anyone else think it would be a good idea? Buzzfan120 (talk) 03:18, 17 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Same I think so thing like this would look nice on my page, probably just gonna use User template tho JackJackAttackG (talk) 11:56, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
The usertag policy outlines the process for moving a usertag into the mainspace. In the meantime, you're more than welcome to use Template:User Template to make your own usertags for your page. Of course, If you haven't already, I'd make sure to review the userspace policy as well before editing your user page. Hope this helps! Landfish7 12:35, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
