As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides Energy.

If the Pokémon this card is attached to is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from your opponent's Pokémon, draw cards until you have 7 cards in your hand.

Rulings

• If the Stadium card Temple of Sinnoh is in play, and a player's Pokémon uses a damaging attack that discards any Stadium in play (eg. Roaring Moon ex's "Calamity Storm" attack) and Knocks Out the Defending Pokémon that has a Gift Energy attached, Gift Energy becomes in effect (since Temple of Sinnoh is no longer in play) and the opponent may draw cards until they have 7 cards in their hand.
