Future (TCG Pocket)

Future (Japanese: 未来 Future) is a category of cards in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. Future cards debuted in the Paradox Drive expansion, mainly revolving around the future Paradox Pokémon. Future cards are available as Pokémon and Trainer cards, and are the counterpart of Ancient cards.
Future cards are primarily based on the future Paradox Pokémon from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, and were first introduced in the Paradox Drive expansion — Paradox Pokémon cards released in previous expansions are not categorized as Future cards. Future cards are distinguished by a technological Future label superimposed on the top right corner of the card art, and a pixelated background adorning the entire right half of the card. Future Pokémon tend to have Abilities and attacks with extra effects, allowing for crafty strategies. Certain attacks, Abilities, and Trainer cards interact specifically with Future cards.
