Friend quest

Friend quests are a mechanic in Pokémon Friends. Residents of Think Town will request various Pokémon plush that the player can give them, and the player will receive furniture for their plush rooms as a reward. The player cannot give away plush that are currently on display in a plush room.

When the player completes a friend quest, they will also earn friendship points, which are used to increase their friendship level. When the player's friendship level increases, they will receive a new stamp to use on the calendar, and new friend quests will be added to their list. Some friend quests can only be unlocked after purchasing DLC packs. As the player's friendship level increases, the subtitle for Think Town displayed on the town map may also change, and more instruments are added to the background music played on the friend quest screen.

After the player completes a friend quest, the face of the resident who requested it may show up on the town map, indicating where in Think Town they are found. These residents' quests also remain in the friend quest list after completion, with a green checkmark icon next to their face to indicate their quest is complete. Selecting one of these quests again will replay the dialogue that the resident said after receiving the plush.

These friend quests can only be completed once. Completing the first quest from a particular resident will cause the requester's icon to appear on the town map. Additional quests from the same resident are only unlocked after the designated level is reached and prior quests from that resident have been completed.

Repeatable

After completing one of these friend quests, the requester's icon does not appear on the town map. Instead, it has a chance to reappear after a certain amount of time. When it reappears, the requester, the dialogue for the request, the size and amount of plush required, and the friendship points earned may vary, but the title of the quest and the dialogue after receiving a plush is always the same. In addition, no furniture is earned on subsequent completions of the quest. After reappearing, the quest will remain in the quest list until it is completed again.
