Uses

This page is in need of spading. See its section on the spading page for more information, and how you can help.
Reason:
  • Is the no-flavor effect for Comfort Level gain, the other friendship stat that determines when Pokémon start calling you by name and the "best friends" label, or both?
  • What does the sour effect consider to be "good items"?

Placing a food item on Mosslax's offering dish will grant an effect based on the flavor of the meal for the rest of the day:

  • No flavor: Increased rate of "growing closer with other Pokémon"
  • Bitter: Increased chance of finding recipes in rippling water (described in-game as an increased chance of finding "rare items")
  • Dry: Increased chance of finding Rainbow Feathers and Silver Feathers
  • Sour: 10% trade discount and increased chance of "good items" being available for trade
  • Spicy: Increased chance of new Pokémon appearing in habitats
  • Sweet: Increased chance of finding lost relics and fossils

The strength of the effect is determined by the complexity of the meal, as follows:

  • Medium-strength effect ("more likely"):
  • Weakest effect ("a little more likely"):
    • All other food items
