Disheartening Shock (Japanese: まひ相手攻撃時攻撃防御↓Attack and Defense Reduction When Attacking Paralyzed Opponent) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully uses an attack move against an opponent that is paralyzed, it has a chance of lowering the target's Attack and Defense by one stat rank each. The skill can range from Disheartening Shock 1 to Disheartening Shock 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of lowering the target's stats. Disheartening Shock 9 will always lower the target's Attack and Defense. Currently, only Disheartening Shock 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
