Chiru-Chiru (ちるちる Chiru-Chiru) is a side character in Pokémon Chamo-Chamo ☆ Pretty ♪.
History
Chiru-Chiru first appeared in CCP17, sulking over her unrequited love of Treecko. She misinterpreted Treecko's desire to steal one of Torchic's feathers as a sign that the two were a couple, and was inconsolable until Treecko was convinced to take one of Chiru-Chiru's feathers.
In CCP23, when Torchic explained the only reason Treecko did not go after Chiru-Chiru's feather was because he already had a Swablu feather, Chiru-Chiru decided they should get rid of his feather collection so he would stop pursuing other girls. Torchic lured him out of his home so she and Swablu could later break in. The two then found his collection of feathers in a locked box, which Torchic tried to open with fire. They accidentally burned the entire collection, and while Treecko was initially upset, he took it as a sign that he needed to start a new feather collection, angering Chiru-Chiru.
In CCP35, Haruka told Torchic and Chiru-Chiru that if they were to go to sleep on the last night of the year with a Skarmory feather under their pillows, they would have good luck for the entirety of the new year. The two attempted to ask Treecko to borrow his, but he refused, driving Chiru-Chiru to tears. When they began to search for a Skarmory feather, Treecko took notice and purposefully dropped a map with the locations of Skarmory nests. After finding the map, Chiru-Chiru and Torchic followed it to the top of a tree where a Skarmory nest rested. As the two searched, a Skarmory arrived, and they attempted to fight it off, but were forced to flee. When Treecko saw the two lamenting their failure to obtain the feather, he gave Chiru-Chiru one to borrow just for the night.
In CCP40, Chiru-Chiru announced to Treecko that since it had been almost a year since he had taken her feather, they must get married, as per her family tradition. When Treecko responded with confusion, Torchic urged her to tell him her feelings. Chiru-Chiru followed her advice, but then parted ways from Treecko after he seemed to not feel the same way. Treecko later searched for her and told her that he needed a new Swablu feather after his was lost in a fire. Chiru-Chiru gleefully gave him one of hers, excited to have one more year to pursue a relationship with him.
Character
Chiru-Chiru is a high-spirited hopeless romantic who loves following the latest trends. She is a close friend of Torchic's.
