Formats =/ Tournament, change name

Yeah so TCPi says quite bluntly the word "format" refers to ways the TCG can be played (that aren't themselves independent games). The "tournament" element means nothing. See the Alternative Play Handbook, which plans to flood this category with all of its contents, because many of those are formats.

Besides, Theme and Legacy were never part of a sanctioned Play! Pokemon event, being TCGO exclusive concepts, so this name has been inaccurate from the jump. Categories should lean broad anyway, we have lots of stuff and need buckets to put them in. Salmancer (talk) 13:45, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

Bumping this, I think this move is necessary -- playing with cards and using specific rules does not necessarily mean you're in a tournament. RotomAmiti (talk) 03:06, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
