Manabu pulls a M Venusaur-EX from a pack and Uratane decides now is finally the time to explain how Mega Evolution works. He decides to do this in a game using 60 card standard decks and 6 Prize cards to be more interesting to teach. For this, He tasks Manabu to build a 60 card deck by tomorrow with the Mega Evolution Pokémon Manabu pulled. Uratane also explains how Mega Evolution needs to be done from a BasicPokémon-EX rather than a Stage 2 Pokémon. However, Manabu has significant trouble building the deck around just 1 card as the odds of him getting to it in a game are slim. But after a moment of inspiration, he is able to construct his 60 card deck and challenges Uratane to a battle. It is revealed Manabu filled his deck with Trainer cards with draw effects to get to M Venusaur-EX more quickly while Uratane filled his deck with Trainer cards that can specifically search his deck. An intense battle takes place between Manabu's M Venusaur-EX and Uratane's M Blastoise-EX, where Uratane explains that a turn automatically ends once you Mega Evolve. However, before their game can properly conclude, they are interrupted by a strange man who gives Manabu an offer.
