Card text

All prints

As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides Colorless Energy.

If this card is discarded by an effect of an attack used by the Pokémon this card is attached to, attach this card from your discard pile to that Pokémon after attacking.

Release information

This card was included in the Twilight Masquerade expansion, first released in the Japanese Crimson Haze subset. In Japan, it is reprinted in the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection.

Rulings

  • If the Stadium card Temple of Sinnoh is in play, Boomerang Energy's effect will be nullified, and thus it will not reattach itself from the discard pile after being discarded due to an attack effect.[1]

Trivia

  • This card's effect of reattaching itself from the discard pile after being discarded by the effect of an attack is similar to that of Burning Energy, first released in the BREAKthrough expansion.
